LAST TIME OUT

Visiting the Wheeling Nailers for the first road game of the season, the Fuel saw goals from Derek Barach, David Broll and Jared Thomas. Scoring two goals in the middle of the opening period, the Fuel only needed Thomas’ goal in the middle of the second period to earn their first road win and second win in the 2020-21 ECHL season.

HOT START

With three straight wins, the Indy Fuel are off to the hottest start in franchise history. Earning back-to-back wins during the first weekend of the year and an overtime win against Kansas City last Friday, the Fuel will be looking to finish the weekend with what would be a franchise-record five straight wins to start the 2020-21 ECHL season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Earning a goal and three assists during the Fuel’s 4-3 win against Kansas City last Friday, Matt Marcinew earned ECHL Player of the Week honors. The third-year pro tallied 16 goals and 18 assists through 46 ECHL games last season and will expect to continue his scoring touch throughout this season. Leading the Fuel in points through three games, Marcinew is trailed by David Broll and Alex Rauter who have both registered two goals and an assist.
