This season the Fuel are proud to be teaming up with PNC Bank to help make a difference around Central Indiana. Each month, we'll take a closer look at what the Fuel organization has been up to away from the rink in our Community Spotlight.
This April the Fuel kicked off their Flat Nitro program. Flat Nitro will be visiting classrooms in the Indianapolis area to learn what students are up to in school! This month Flat Nitro visited Mrs. Greene’s 1st grad class at St. Luke’s Catholic School and Mr. Niswander’s Kindergarten class at Cumberland Road Elementary School!Â
In honor of Autism Awareness Month the Fuel teamed up with DAMAR to bring a virtual hockey practice to some of their kids! Fuel players did their best zoom coaching as they helped kids walk through several hockey drills.Â
Nitro and our intern team hung out with fans and helped Whiteland Youth Baseball kick off their season this month.
One of our Shoot-the-Puck winners from City Circle Ghostbusters chose Dayspring Center as the charity to donate his $1,000 winnings too. Dayspring Center provides emergency shelter, clothing, and three nourishing meals a day for homeless families with children in central Indiana.Â
