Due to league safety protocols Friday and Saturday's home games have been postponed. The ECHL and the Fuel are looking to reschedule Friday's game (Hockey is for Everyone) to a later date. Fans who have already purchased tickets should hold on to them as they will be valid for the new date.
Hockey is for Everyone is an NHL initiative that uses the game of hockey - and the League’s global influence - to drive positive social change and foster more inclusive communities. We, along with the NHL - believe all hockey programs - from professionals to youth organizations - should provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment for players and families regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, disability, sexual orientation and socio-economic status.
Check out what’s going on throughout the night!
Pride Jerseys: We are excited to wear specialty “Hockey is for Everyone” jerseys for the first time in team history.
Fans can bid on game worn jerseys during the post game jersey auctioned presented by Northwestern Mutual. A portion of the profits will benefit the Indiana Youth Group - an organization that creates safer spaces to foster community and provides programming that empowers LGBTQ+ youth and magnifies their voices.
Shoot the Puck Celebrity Guest: Robert from the Damien Center will be our shoot-the-puck guest celebrity! Damien Center is Indiana’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization (ASO) and serves more than 4,000 individuals affected and infected by HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive, innovative approach to HIV care and prevention.
Twisters Intermission Scrimmage: The first intermission will feature a scrimmage from the Indy Twisters! The Indy Twisters is a hockey team that caters to children and adults with developmental disabilities and physical challenges.
Pride Tape: We are always excited to partner with Pride Tape, but this year we are even more thrilled to be a part of their Pride Starts at Home series.
As the first team in the ECHL to partner with Pride Tape we are proud to recognize a company that funds LGBTQ+ youth outreach and educational initiatives, such as You Can Play and the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services.
