Fuel Begin Three Game Weekend with Rapid City

Falling to the Rapid City Rush in overtime on Wednesday night, the Indy Fuel return to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center for the first of three straight games against the Rush. Indy enters Friday night with points in three straight games while Rapid City is looking for three straight wins for the first time since May 1.

LAST TIME OUT

Playing the first of four games in five days, the Indy Fuel visited the Rapid City Rush at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Both teams would score eight goals throughout regulation eventually forcing overtime. Jumping on a rebound in the overtime, Rapid City’s Peter Quenneville gave the Rush a 5-4 win in the first of the four games this week. 

LIGHTING THE LAMP

Although falling in overtime on Wednesday night, the Indy Fuel netted four goals for the third time in their last five games. With players making their returns from injuries and others coming down from the American Hockey League, Indy has scored 15 goals in their last five games. 

10 GAMES LEFT

With an overtime loss on Wednesday night, the Fuel dropped .001 in win percentage, keeping them in third place in the East with a .585 win percentage. The Orlando Solar Bears helped out the Fuel on Tuesday night by falling in regulation to Jacksonville, earning themselves a .557 win percentage.
