DEFENSIVE SCORING

Through the past two games, the Indy Fuel have seen multiple goals from defensemen. With Willie Raskob scoring on Wednesday night and Dmitri Osipov scoring in Saturday’s contest, the Indy Fuel will be expecting for their defense to continue to jump into the play and help out the offensive production.

HUTCH’S TOUCH

Entering Saturday night’s game, Nick Hutchison has points in three straight games. The rookie forward has registered five goals and 14 assists through 44 games in a Fuel uniform this season.

CRUNCH TIME

Falling to the rush on Saturday night, the Fuel dropped to .575 win percentage, two games ahead of the Orlando Solar Bears. Orlando takes on South Carolina on Saturday night so Indy will be hoping for a Solar Bears loss and a win of their own to keep them in the second spot in the East. With a win over the Jacksonville Icemen on Saturday night, the Florida Everblades can be the first team in the East to clinch a playoff spot.
