HOME COOKING

Following their loss to Fort Wayne on Sunday night, the Fuel will play four out of their next five games on home ice. Their lone road game will come on New Year’s Eve when the Toledo Walleye host them for an outdoor contest at Fifth Third Field. Having earned a 6-4-0-0 record at home, the Fuel will need to string together wins to stay in playoff contention.

Tallying a goal and two assists on Sunday night, Jared Thomas pushed his point streak to 13 straight games. Over the course of his point streak, Thomas has registered five goals and 14 assists, putting him in second place on the Fuel in points. Only one assist has come outside of his extended point streak this season.

SPECIAL TEAMS FIRING

Scoring on two out of their four chances on Sunday, the Indy Fuel have put themselves in fourth place in power-play percentage. Leading the team in power-play goals with six, Darien Craighead is averaging 2.3 shots per power-play chance. Since joining the Fuel on December 13, Craighead has scored four goals on the man advantage.
