LAST TIME OUT

In the third and final game of the weekend, the Indy Fuel visited the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday, December 5. Although Cedric Lacroix would pick up his second goal of the game when he tied the game late, the Fuel would eventually fall 3-2 in overtime to their division rival.

SCORING SEAMUS

Coming into Friday’s contest, Seamus Malone has tallied four goals in his last four games. His two-goal game on Sunday was his first muli-goal game of the season. Having picked up eight goals and 10 assists in his first 25 games, Malone has surpassed his career-high in both goals and assists since turning pro in 2019-20.

RACK ‘EM UP

Scoring a goal in Sunday's win over Iowa, Spencer Watson has nine goals in his last 10 games. The fourth-year pro has tallied 15 goals this season, putting him in first place on the team scoring list. No stranger to putting pucks on net, Watson leads the team in shots this season, averaging 4.7 shots per game.

SPIKE RETURNS

After being released from his loan to the American Hockey League’s Hartford Wolf Pack, Mike Lee returned to the Fuel this week. Although missing three games while he was with the Wolf Pack, Lee remains first among ECHL defensemen in points with five goals and 20 assists.

MARVELOUS MANDAT

Since joining the Fuel, forward Jan Mandat has tallied three goals and eight assists in nine games. The Czech Republic native has two goals and five assists in his last five games. Skating alongside Spencer Watson and Jared Thomas, Mandat is averaging 1.22 scoring chances per game this season.
