INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks and the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs, announced Wednesday that they have acquired forward Ryan Valentini and a future consideration from the Rapid City Rush in exchange for Keegan Iverson and Ryan Zuhlsdorf.
Additionally, the Fuel have traded defenseman Mike Lee to the Kansas City Mavericks in exchange for Bryan Lemos and multiple future considerations.
Valentini, 24, joins the Fuel after playing the first part of the season with the Rapid City Rush. The 6-foot, 176-pound forward has skated in 21 ECHL games this season tallying nine goals and 14 assists as well as earning a call up to the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
Lemos, 25, comes to the Circle City after skating in 44 games with the Kansas City Mavericks, registering eight goals, 14 assists and 18 penalty minutes. The third-year pro has appeared in 169 ECHL games over his three years, earning 36 goals, 46 assists and 52 penalty minutes.
