LAST TIME OUT

Playing their third and final game of the week on Saturday, February 12 the Indy Fuel hosted the Cincinnati Cyclones in front of a sold-out crowd at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Cyclones would jump out to an early lead and eventually put up eight goals on the Fuel throughout 60 minutes, eventually earning an 8-2 win.

HOME COOKING

Playing their next six games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum, the Fuel are hoping to use their home-ice advantage to get back into the playoff race. Earning a 13-10-0-1 record when playing at home this season, Indy has done well when jumping out to an early lead. Indy is 19-7-2-1 when tallying the first goal of the game this year so getting out to the early lead on Saturday could bring them good fortunes.

OLD FRIENDS

Indy faces a Cincinnati team on Saturday that they’ve seen nine times this season. Earning a near .500 record against the Cyclones this season, Indy will be hoping to add another notch to the win column when they play at home on Saturday. Heading into Saturday's contest, the pair of teams have combined for six or more goals in five out of their nine meetings this season.

PLAYOFF RACE

Entering Saturday night, the Fuel are 10 points out of the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division. Beginning a six-game homestand on Saturday, Indy will need to earn points in most of those games to stay alive in the playoff race. Facing Cincinnati and Wheeling for five out of the six games, the Fuel can play spoiler to two teams who are fighting for the final two playoff positions.
