PARKING: Parking at Indiana State Fairgrounds is $10. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to park due to anticipated large crowds at the Fairgrounds. Infield parking is not available at this time due to set up for the Christmas light show.TICKETS: Tickets for tonight’s game can be purchased at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office or online HERE. Kids two and under do not need a ticket as long as they sit on the lap of a ticketed patron. BAG POLICY: The Indy Fuel now follow the same bag policy as all Indiana State Fairgrounds events. All bags are subject to search upon entering the arena. All bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6” (backpacks, suitcases, duffel bags, etc.) are prohibited. Please plan accordingly to help facilitate a quick and efficient entry process. Please report suspicious bags to an Indiana Farmers Coliseum team member.

ABOUT THE HOCKEY

INDIANAPOLIS- The Indy Fuel will host the Iowa Heartlanders for their second home game of the season. The Fuel look to go 4-1 while continuing Iowa’s five-game losing streak. 

LAST TIME OUTThe last time these two teams met on April 9, 2022, the Indy Fuel took the game 6-2. After scoring four unanswered goals, the Fuel dominated play and only allowed two Iowa goals, one on the power play, before tacking two more on to put the game away. Returning players Chris Van Os-Shaw (2a), Keoni Texeira (1a) and Chris Cameron (1a) all notched points in the game.

READY FOR YETIDespite coming off of a loss in Reading last Sunday, Chad Yetman was the lone goal scorer for the Fuel with two goals on the day. Added with his two goals from the first weekend, he now leads the team in goals with four. In just four games, he is almost halfway to his full season goals total from last year. Yetman has typically played on a line with Alex Wideman and Mitchell Heolscher who lead the team in assists and the league in power play assists. It might be time to start thinking of a line nickname for all of their success.

MILESTONE MAYHEMAlex Wideman and Keoni Texeira are on the doorstep of the all-time Fuel assists record currently held by Josh Shalla at 73. Wideman has 72 headed into the weekend and Texeira has 69. Saturday night will also be Bryan Lemos’ 200th ECHL game. Texeira is not far behind him, approaching his 250th next weekend. Spencer Watson is just three goals away from tying the all-time Fuel goals record, also held by Josh Shalla at 80. With that, Watson is also chasing Shalla’s all-time Fuel points record of 153, with 143 of his own.
