INDIANAPOLIS- The Indy Fuel are in Tulsa again tonight for the second game of a three game set against the Oilers. Indy still sits in first place in the division, now ahead of Cincinnati by two points and will look to hold their place as both Central division teams play tonight.
LAST TIME OUT
These two teams faced each other last night for the first time in two seasons and the Fuel continued their win streak against the Oilers with a 3-1 win. Both teams scored a goal in the first period, and then score would remain tied until late in the third period when Alex Wideman and Cooper Zech tallied two quick goals for the Fuel to put Indy ahead.
CHECK OUT CHAIKAÂ
Fuel defenseman, Kirill Chaika tallied his second goal of the season last night, meeting his season high of two goals in just 17 games this season. He is on pace to have the best offensive year of his career while still maintaining the highest +/- on the team and being imperative to the defense.Â
TULSA TROUBLES
Over the last five years, Indy has a 7-0-0-0 record against Tulsa, however from the last time these two teams met in the 2020-21 season, there is no one left from that Indy Fuel roster still on the team. Tulsa ended with a better record than Indy last season but currently sits in sixth place in the Mountain division.Â
