INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel have announced Tuesday their involvement in a three-team trade with the Reading Royals and the Wichita Thunder.
The Fuel have acquired the rights to forward Sam Sternschein and Future Considerations in exchange for Future Considerations. Additionally, the Fuel have acquired forward Luc Brown from Wichita in exchange for Sternschein, defenseman Josh McDougall and Future Considerations.
Brown has played two seasons in the ECHL for four different teams, most recently with the Cincinnati Cyclones. Last season he played fourteen games where he scored one goal and tallied six assists. Prior to that, he played 57 games for the Idaho Steelheads where he had 41 points.

McDougall has played 19 games for the Fuel this season, collecting three assists and posting a +/- of +2. Prior to that, he began his ECHL career in Wichita, playing five games for the Thunder during the 2021-22 season.
In addition to that trade, Fuel forward Chad Yetman has been recalled by the Cleveland Monsters of the AHL. Yetman has played 36 games for the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL from 2020 to 2022 where he collected 11 points. In addition to that, Yetman currently leads the Fuel in points per game with 1.19. He was recently awarded the ECHL Player of the Week Award for a six-point weekend where he scored two goals in one game.
Chris Cameron, who was called up to the Milwaukee Admirals on December 13 has been re-assigned to the Fuel. Cameron played two games for the Admirals in his first AHL call-up before returning to the Fuel where he has played 58 games across two seasons and tallied 14 points.
The Rockford IceHogs have also recalled forward Kale Howarth and defenseman Cliff Watson while assigning goaltender Mitchell Weeks to Indy.
