INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel head to Kalamazoo to take on the K-Wings for two games this weekend, beginning tonight. This will be the ninth meeting between these division rivals. Indy has taken seven of the eight games against the Wings.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these teams met was last Saturday when the Fuel shutout the K-Wings in Kalamazoo. Indy tallied five goals, each by a different player. Wideman, Wilson and Hillis all had two point games while Austin Albrecht scored his first ECHL goal.Â
LEADING WIDEMAN
Forward Alex Wideman leads the Fuel against Kalamazoo with ten points, two of which he tallied last Saturday when Indy visited the K-Wings. Both Wideman and Hillis are averaging over a point per game against Kalamazoo this season. Wideman broke the fifty point mark in these team’s last meeting where he tallied his fiftieth and fifty first points of the season to remain the team's leader in points.
CHRIS WHAMERON
Chris Cameron leads all Fuel defensemen in scoring against Kalamazoo. Two of his three goals this season came against the K-Wings and he has an additional assist. He has a +/- of +6 against Kalamazoo this season and has only recorded 8 penalty minutes against them.Â
