The Fuel will celebrate the red, white and blue on Friday, March 31 on Made in America Night as they take on the Wheeling Nailers. Throughout the night, tributes will be made to first responders and emergency personnel for all their hard work and dedication to our community.

PARKING: Parking at Indiana State Fairgrounds is $10. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to park due to anticipated large crowds at the Fairgrounds. Infield parking is now available.

TICKETS: Tickets for today’s game can be purchased at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office or online HERE. Kids two and under do not need a ticket as long as they sit on the lap of a ticketed patron.

BAG POLICY: The Indy Fuel now follow the same bag policy as all Indiana State Fairgrounds events. All bags are subject to search upon entering the arena. All bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6” (backpacks, suitcases, duffel bags, etc.) are prohibited. Please plan accordingly to help facilitate a quick and efficient entry process. Please report suspicious bags to an Indiana Farmers Coliseum team member.

ABOUT THE HOCKEY:

INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel host the Wheeling Nailers for the seventh time this season and are looking for their fifth win against the divisional opponent. All games between these two teams have ended in regulation this season with the Fuel leading the season series 4-2 so far. 

LAST TIME OUT

The last time these two teams met was March 3 when the Fuel defeated the Nailers 3-2 with a second period game-winning goal from Chase Lang and a scoreless third period. There were three power play goals in total in this game, two coming from Indy’s Lang and Max Golod. 

ADRIAN CONNECTION

The Fuel have added forward Matus Spodniak, who has played the last two seasons at Adrian College, scoring 94 points in 60 games. The 5’11, Slovakia native led the team in scoring this season. He joins fellow Adrian alumni Andrew Bellant and Cam Gray in Indy though he only overlapped with Gray for one season.

IMPENDING PLAYOFFS

The Central division is currently the only division in the ECHL will three teams guaranteed to make the playoffs already. The division will likely be even more solidified after this weekend as a regulation win for the Fuel over Wheeling will eliminate them from playoff contention. Additionally, a regulation win for Fort Wayne over Kalamazoo on Friday would eliminate them from playoff contention as well.
