INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel are headed to Cincinnati for some Saturday night hockey where they hope to claim a win over the Cyclones after falling to the Iowa Heartlanders in a shootout last night.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams played was Tuesday, February 27 for Education Day where the Fuel defeated the Cyclones 4-1 in front of the biggest crowd in Fuel history. Jon Martin had two goals in the first period while Kyle Maksimovich and Colin Bilek added to the tally as well.
STACKED STANDINGS
Kyle Maksimovich leads the Fuel against the Cyclones this season with three goals and two assists in four games played. Three other players have four points against them those four games, including Jon Martin and Colin Bilek who both scored against Cincinnati in their last meeting.
STACKED STANDINGS
The Fuel are just five points out of first place in the Central division behind the Toledo Walleye who play the Iowa Heartlanders tonight. With most Central division teams also playing on Sunday, the standings could be shaken up by Monday morning with how close teams are.
