INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel head to Kalamazoo for a two-game weekend where they have back-to-back games against their division rivals, the K-Wings. Indy will look to gain some momentum after their first win last week against Cincinnati.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was the Fuel’s last regular season game as well as the last home game of the year on April 13, 2024. The Fuel took the game to overtime and won 3-2 with a goal by Jon Martin, who now plays for Kalamazoo. The Fuel were 7-7-0-0 against the K-Wings last year.
BREAK THE STREAK
Kalamazoo hasn’t lost a game yet this season, with two wins over Cincinnati and one win over Fort Wayne. The Fuel will look to break that streak this weekend. Additionally, both goals this season for the Fuel have come from defensemen so they will also look to garner more offensive production from their forwards and break that streak as well.
