KALAMAZOO - The Fuel finish the weekend in Kalamazoo against the Wings. The Fuel will look to stay above .500 this weekend with a win on the road.
LAST TIME OUT
The Fuel took on Kalamazoo in Indy's Teddy Bear Toss game last night at the Fishers Event Center. It was a back-and-forth affair but ended in favor of Kalamazoo as they scored in overtime to take the game 4-3.
DEFENSE WINS GAMES
The Fuel are 1-0-1 on the weekend after two home games, one against Allen on Friday and yesterday against Kalamazoo. On Friday, the Fuel allowed an ECHL record-low seven shots against, breaking the previous record of eight, in a shutout effort by Joe Vrbetic.
Saturday was a different story as two of Kalamazoo's first seven shots found the back of the net. The defense will need to rekindle their presence from Friday against Allen to help secure their second win in Kalamazoo this season.
