GAME 24 - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27 VS FORT WAYNE - 4-2 L

The Fuel hosted the Fort Wayne Komets for the third game in a row. Despite scoring two goals early in the game, the Fuel fell 4-2 to the Komets.

GAME 25 - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 28 VS TOLEDO - 4-1 L

The Fuel hosted the Toledo Walleye for the first time this season on Saturday night. After a quick start for the Walleye, they maintained dominance and defeated the Fuel 4-1.

GAME 26 - SUNDAY, DECEMBER 29 AT FORT WAYNE - 3-2 SOL

The Fuel wrapped up the weekend on the road in Fort Wayne. In the third game for each team this weekend, the Komets would end the weekend with a victory in a shootout, winning 3-2.

• Defenseman DJ King loaned from Rockford (AHL) on 12/29/24
• Goaltender Marco Costantini suspended by team on 12/27/24
• Goaltender Ben Gaudreau loaned from Rockford (AHL) on 12/20/24
• Forward Cam Hausinger returned on loan from Chicago (AHL) on 12/20/24
• Defenseman Ryan Orgel claimed off waivers on 12/20/24

OIL DROPS

• Forward Darby Llewellyn scored his second shorthanded goal of the season on Friday night vs. Fort Wayne. 
• Llewellyn and teammate Jordan Martin have connected on all three of the Fuel’s shorthanded goals so far this season.
• Goaltender Ben Gaudreau is ranked ninth overall in the ECHL with a goals against average of 2.29 through 16 games played.
• Forward Cam Hausinger recorded the Fuel’s first hat trick this season on December 21 in the Fuel’s 5-2 win over Fort Wayne. 

TEAM NOTES

• The Fuel hosted back-to-back sellouts on Friday and Saturday, hosting 13,596 fans through both nights.
• Indy is ranked second overall on the penalty kill with a 89.9% success rate. They are second only to South Carolina.
• The Fuel have scored most of their goals in the third period with 23, however they have also allowed the most goals in the third period with 21.
• Despite scoring the most in the third frame, Indy records the least amount of shots in the third period. They have 224 shots in the third period this season, while the first and second have seen 250 shots each.
