INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced on Thursday that they have signed forward William Provost to a standard player contract.
Provost, 22, was signed with the Worcester Railers and Trois-Rivieres Lions earlier this season. He appeared in 10 games for the Lions and three for the Railers. This will be the seventh ECHL team Provost has suited up for.
Provost has 85 games played in the ECHL, scoring 11 goals and recording 20 assists for 31 total points. His first professional goal came with the Fort Wayne Komets during the 2022-23 season where he also scored a goal in the playoffs for the Komets.
Before his professional playing career, Provots played in the QMJHL, with the Val-d'Or Foreurs for all five seasons. He played 235 games for the Foreurs, scoring 55 times and assisting on 78 goals for a total of 133 points.
