INDIANAPOLIS - The Fuel got swept by the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in a two-game series, despite scoring on the power play twice and short-handed, Greenville outscored and outskated the Fuel. However, key divisional points are on the line, and the Fuel head up I-69 to Fort Wayne.
POWER PLAY
The Fuel had two power-play goals over the weekend against the Swamp Rabbits, by Nick Grima and Kevin Lombardi. The Fuel have found success in their power play unit against the Komets, but just once out of twelve opportunities. Today, the Fuel needs to generate more shots and minimize turnovers during pivotal moments of a power play.
MISSING KEY PLAYERS
The season record between the two teams is 1-2-0-1 for Indy, with some of our leading scorers being Ryan Gagnier (2G, 1A), Darby Llewellyn (1 SHG) and Adam McCormick (3A). All are not expected to not be in the lineup tonight, meaning that rookies such as Ethan Manderville, C.J McGee, and Kevin Lombardi will need to step up against this physical and older Komets team.
