INDIANAPOLIS - The Fuel take on the Bloomington Bison for the second game in a row. The Bison came out on top in the first matchup last night 5-2.
ROTATING NETMINDER
Since the call-up of Ben Gaudreau to the Rockford IceHogs, the Fuel have not had a consistent presence in net. The last five games have all seen a different goaltender in net, two of which are no longer with the team as Joe Vrbetic was traded to the Trois-Rivieres Lions and Ryan Kenny was released. Either Cam Gray or newly acquired Logan Neaton will get the start and both have yet to find a win this season.
DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF RACE
As it is every year, the Central Division is in a tight playoff race for the fourth and final playoff spot. The Bloomington Bison (48 points), Indy Fuel (47 points), the Cincinnati Cyclones (46 points), and Kalamazoo Wings (42 points) are all within six points of each other. Every game counts, especially these next three for the Fuel as they are all against the Bloomington Bison who currently claim the fourth and final playoff spot.
