INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel will host the Wichita Thunder on Sunday afternoon to end their weekend on Bluey Day. Indy will look for two important points in the standings as they host the out-of-division team.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams played was last night when the Fuel took a 4-3 regulation win over the Thunder. Jesse Tucker netted his first professional goal, as Kevin Lynch scored the game winner as well as claimed an assist. Defenseman Lucas Brenton had his first pro multi-point night with two assists. Matus Spodniak also claimed two assists.
PLAYOFF PUSH
While the top three teams in the Central division have a nice cushion, the fight for fourth place is close with all four teams being within a point of each other. Heading into today’s game, the Fuel sit in fifth place, just one point behind the Bloomington Bison, who took a 5-4 win over the Heartlanders last night.
