INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel will host the Bloomington Bison on Wednesday night as a makeup game from February 25. This game has major implications as the Fuel can clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Bison.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was March 22, 2025 when the Fuel hosted the Bison and defeated them 5-2. With three goals in the first period by Kevin Lombardi, Kevin Lynch, and Bryan Lemos, the Fuel took an early lead that Bloomington could not come back from. Things were a little chippy between these teams as they collected 24 penalty minutes together.
WILD WEDNESDAY
The Fuel are 4-2-2-0 this season when playing on Wednesdays, however three of those wins came on the road while just one was at home. If the Fuel win this Wednesday, they will be in a great spot for the fourth seed in the Central division. As the end of the regular season approaches, their hot streak seems to be paying off.
