FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Thursday that they have signed forward Connor Joyce to a standard player contract for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
The 24-year-old rookie played the last four years at Boston College. He recorded nine goals, 15 assists, and 14 penalty minutes in 141 games. Joyce was an alternate captain during his senior year at Boston College.
During his last two seasons there, the Eagles were NCAA Hockey East Regular Season Champions. While playing at BC, he was enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences.
His father, John Paul Joyce, went to Boston College from 1990 to 1994 and was named captain in his senior year. His father also played two seasons with the Birmingham Bulls in the ECHL, scoring 40 goals for a total of 106 points.
The Westwood, Massachusetts, native also spent one season with the National Collegiate Development Conference’s Connecticut Jr. Rangers. He played 18 games, tallied four goals and eight assists.
Prior to that, he had stints with the Boston Jr Eagles 14U AAA, 16U AAA, and 18U AAA teams, plus St. Sebastian’s School. His brother, Nolan, is also a player for the Boston College Eagles; the two played together for Connor’s senior year.
