FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Adirondack Thunder on Friday and Saturday this weekend. They will look for two big wins against their rare North division opponent as they fight to hold their spot in the standings.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was March 29, 2025 when the Fuel visited Adirondack for the last game of a three-game set against them. The Thunder took a 1-0 win that game after Greg Smith scored in the first period. The Fuel only won one game that week, a 3-2 shootout win in their first matchup.
NORTH DIVISION BREAKDOWN
The Adirondack Thunder come into this series in fourth place in the North division with a 5-3-1-1 record. They have thirty goals for and thirty goals against and sit eight points behind the first place Wheeling Nailers. The Thunder have just one more point than the fifth place Greensboro Gargoyles, who are in their inaugural ECHL season.
POWER PLAYERS
Special teams have made a huge difference in just thirteen games for the Fuel this season so far. The Fuel lead the league in shorthanded goals against with six. They also have ten power play goals against and six power play goals for.
