FISHERS- The Fuel will head to Bloomington, Illinois on Saturday to finish the weekend against the Bison after splitting two games against them this week. A regulation win for Indy could put them in second place in the Central division, jumping two spots.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night where the Bison visited Indy and were shut out 5-0 by the Fuel. Ryan Ouellette recorded his first professional shutout while blocking all 14 shots by the Bison. Harrison Israels, Kevin Lombardi, Jesse Tucker, and Brett Moravec all had two-point nights with Lombardi and Moravec tied for the most goals on the team with four each.
RUBBER MATCH
Despite the dominant win by the Fuel last night, it was the Bison who were victorious on Wednesday night when they took a 4-2 win over Indy. The Fuel recorded just 19 shots on goal that game and gave up a goal on a penalty shot and an empty net goal, which made the difference in the end.
GREY NOVEMBER
This is already the fifth game of the month for the Fuel who have a tough November schedule with fourteen games, including four Wednesday night games. With a lot of divisional opponents this month, the Fuel have a good chance to rack up some points in the standings early in the season.
