FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Adirondack Thunder for the second night in a row on Saturday. After defeating them 2-1 last night with a two-goal performance from Cody Laskosky in his first game with the Fuel, they will look to sweep the weekend in the final game on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night where Owen Flores only allowed one late goal in net for the Fuel and stopped 25 shots. That goal went to Justin Taylor, who was celebrating his 900th professional game. On the other side of the ice, Cody Laskosky earned first star in his first game with the Fuel for scoring both goals in the 2-1 win for Indy.
1974 VIBES
The Fuel are channeling the Indianapolis Racers this weekend. While donning the Racers jerseys on Saturday night, the Fuel will hope to play like Gretzky and Messier, who got their professional starts in Indy like many currently rostered Fuel players.
