FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Cincinnati Cyclones on Saturday night, for the second night in a row. They will look for a sweep in the two-game set before heading to Toledo to close out their weekend against the Walleye on Sunday.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night when the Fuel took a dominant 7-2 win over the Cyclones. With Mitchell Weeks in net, Indy ended the first period tied 2-2 with Cincy but tacked on five more unanswered goals through the next two periods.
LOMBO ON THE LOOSE
Kevin Lombardi returned to the Fuel’s lineup last night after a lengthy stint with the Fuel’s AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs. In his first game back, Lombardi scored two goals and tallied two more assists in the win over the Cyclones. He was +4 on the night and tallied seven shots on goal, the most in the game. He also has ten points in his last five games, and leads the team in goals and points.
