FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Cincinnati Cyclones in their lone home game of the weekend on Saturday night. It is also the Fuel’s eleventh annual Teddy Bear Toss night where they hope to pack the house and surpass their record from last year of 6,852 stuffed animals thrown and donated.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last weekend when the Cyclones visited Indy and split the two-game set, in high scoring fashion. On Friday, December 5, the Fuel dominated the Cyclones with a 7-2 win but Cincy shot back the following night with a 7-1 victory of their own. Indy’s Harrison Israels and Kevin Lombardi each had four-point nights in Friday’s win.
TOSSING TEDDIES
The Fuel are gearing up for their best Teddy Bear Toss year yet. Through ten years, Indy has been able to donate 48,407 stuffed animals to children in need around Central Indiana after our fans have tossed them to the ice. They will look to eclipse 50,000 total after this year. With a sold out arena, Indy hopes to break their single-game record of 6,852 from last year as well. All toys will be donated to kids in need for the holiday season!
