FISHERS- The ECHL announced on Monday that Justin Ullom of the Rapid City Rush has been named the athletic trainer and Darrin Flinchem of the Indy Fuel has been named the equipment manager for the 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Allen, Texas and Allen CDC, on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 at Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas.
Ullom and Flinchem will be joined by Jordan Dutton (athletic trainer) and Matt Miletich (equipment manager) of the host Allen Americans.
The ECHL All-Stars were determined in a vote of coaches, team captains, media relations directors, broadcasters, and members of the media.
Flinchem has been a long-time mainstay in the Indianapolis hockey scene. He has served as the equipment manager for over 1,000 professional games. His involvement with hockey in Indy dates back to 1995 when he served as the equipment manager for the International Hockey League's Indianapolis Ice.
Additionally, he worked for the ECHL's Jacksonville Lizard Kings and the United States Hockey League's Indiana Ice. During his time with the Ice, Flinchem was also called upon to represent the United States at the World Junior “A” Challenge, where he won five gold medals with the USA Hockey Select squad.
During the 2017-18 season, Flinchem earned the ECHL Equipment Manager of the Year award.
His sons, Jake, Luke, and Zach Flinchem, are all part of the team too, as Luke currently serves as the Assistant Equipment Manager for the Fuel, Jake serves as the Assistant Equipment Manager for the Fuel’s AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, and Zach can be found at the rink when not in school.
The ECHL on Wednesday announced the players named as ECHL All-Stars for the 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Allen, Texas, and Allen CDC, to be hosted by the Allen Americans on Monday, Jan. 19 at 6:00 p.m. CT at Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
