RAPID CITY- The Fuel will play the Rapid City Rush on Saturday night for the second night in a row. After a 3-1 loss last night, Indy will look to bounce back and even the score on the three-game set this weekend.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams played was last night when the Rush claimed a 3-1 victory over the Fuel. Both teams scored one goal each in the first period, just thirty seconds apart, but then not again until late in the third. An empty net goal sealed the deal for the Rush at the end after they scored about halfway through the frame.
CENTRAL STANDING VIEWS
Indy heads into this game in fourth place in the Central division, just two points back from the Bloomington Bison in third place. The Toledo Walleye have overtaken the first place spot from the Fort Wayne Komets, despite a loss to the last-place Iowa Heartlanders, breaking their ten game win streak. The Cincinnati Cyclones are still hot on the Fuel’s tail with 31 points, so Indy hopes to collect four more points on their road trip to Rapid City while they can.
