RAPID CITY- The Fuel will play the Rapid City Rush on Friday night in the first of three games against the Mountain division team. After three games against them in Indy, the Fuel are 2-1 against them on the season.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams played was November 15, 2025 when the Rush took a 2-1 win over the Fuel to close out a three-game set in Indy. The Fuel claimed the first two wins, one in overtime and one, a 3-0 shutout before Rapid City responded back with a low-scoring victory. Jadon Joseph was the lone goal scorer for the Fuel that night.
UP THE MOUNTAIN
The Rush currently sit in sixth place in the Mountain division with 30 points and a 14-14-2-0 record. The Kansas City Mavericks lead the division with 44 points and a 21-7-1-1 record. In the overall Western conference standings, the Fuel sit four spots ahead of the Rush despite having just two more points.
SCOUTING REPORT
Rapid City’s Ryan Wagner leads the team in points with 31 and assists with 19. His twelve goals land him second on the team behind Ryan Chyzowski who has 14 on the year. They will be ones to watch offensively as the Fuel take them on this weekend. Rapid City’s goaltender duo of Connor Murphy and Arsenii Sergeev both have save percentages above .900 and a combined 13 wins.
