FISHERS- The Fuel will return home on Saturday to host the Kalamazoo Wings, playing them for the second night in a row. After a 4-1 win last night, Indy will look to string together another win streak as they climb the Central division standings.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night when the Fuel visited Kalamazoo and took home a 4-1 win. Michael Marchesan, Eric Martin, and Terry Broadhurst all scored in the first period to give Indy a 3-0 lead which they would hold onto until late in the third frame when Kalamazoo’s David Keefer made it 3-1. Indy’s Panwar sealed the deal with another goal to make it 4-1.
STANDING(S) ON BUSINESS
With the regulation win on Friday night, the Fuel moved into third place in the Central division with 38 points. On a three game win streak, Indy has gone 7-2-1-0 in their last ten games which is the second best record in the division, behind the first place Toledo Walleye who are 8-2-0-0. Indy trails them by just six points, with Fort Wayne in second place between them.
