FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Sunday that they have acquired defenseman Kaleb Tiessen in a trade with the Rapid City Rush for future considerations.
Tiessen, 23, joined the Fuel from the Mountain division’s Rapid City where he has played 13 games this season.
The 6’5 rookie from Leamington, Ontario previously played in the NCAA this season with St. Cloud State University. He spent the last three seasons with them before signing professionally.
Before college he played junior hockey with the Maryland Black Bears in the NAHL and tallied 25 points in 51 games.
