CINCINNATI- The Fuel will finish out their weekend with a game in Cincinnati against their divisional opponent, the Cyclones. Looking to snap their four-game losing streak, the Fuel hope they can do so against the fifth place team in the Central division standings, who trail Indy by four points.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was on December 31, 2025 when the Fuel fell to the Cyclones, 4-3 in overtime. With a shorthanded goal in regulation by Cincy, and an ill-timed penalty in OT for the Fuel, the Cyclones claimed the last win of 2025. Indy’s goal scorers that night were Cody Laskosky, Lee Lapid, and Owen Robinson who all tallied goals in the second period before Cincinnati made a late comeback.
SCOUTING REPORT
The Cyclones head into this game on a one-game win streak after claiming a 4-3 victory over the Toledo Walleye, who sit in first place in the Central division. They are 4-6-0-0 in their last ten games though. Ben King leads their team in points with 45, while Ryan Kirwan leads the Cyclones in goals with 17. The Cyclones have strong offensive power from their forwards which will be what the Fuel need to stop today, to claim a win.
