FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Iowa Heartlanders on Saturday night for Youth Hockey Night. They will look to earn two points over their divisional opponent to close out their weekend of play.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was on Sunday, February 1 when the Fuel visited Iowa and claimed a 3-2 regulation victory. Lee Lapid, Terry Broadhurst, and Eric Martin scored the goals for Indy in that match. A night prior, Eric Martin scored the game-winning shootout goal over Iowa as well.
SCOUTING REPORT
The Heartlanders head into this game in last place in the Central division with 28 points and a 12-25-2-2 record. Matthew Sop currently leads the Heartlanders in points with 24, while former Fuel defenseman leads Iowa defensemen in points with 17.
