FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Thursday that they have acquired forward Alex Dipaolo in a trade with the Maine Mariners for cash considerations.
Dipaolo, 25, joins the team from the Mariners where he has played in 37 games this season. Last season, he played in ten games for Maine after graduating from Colgate University.
At Colegate, the 6’1 winger played in 129 games for the Raiders through four seasons. He totaled 88 points in that time. He also helped the team to a ECAC Championship during the 2022-23 season.
Prior to his collegiate career, the Oakville, Ontario native played three seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the Victoria Grizzlies, Penticton Vees, and the Coquitlam Express.
For the Grizzlies, he served as both a captain and alternate captain. He was named Rookie of the Year while with the Express.
