FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Toledo Walleye on Wednesday night in a make-up match from late December, when a player strike prevented them from meeting. The Walleye have already clinched a playoff spot, but the Fuel are still looking for their ticket in.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last Friday night when the Fuel visited Toledo and claimed a 3-2 shootout victory. That was the tenth win for Indy in Toledo and their first since November of 2024, making a big playoff statement for the Central division. Owen Robinson and Fuel newcomer Marcus Joughin had the two regulation goals for Indy while Robinson and Eric Martin scored for the Fuel in the shootout.
MAKE UP ARTISTS
Not originally slated for Wednesday night on the schedule, these two teams opted for a weeknight matchup as their make-up game. This leaves much larger playoff implications than a December 28 matchup would. Indy is looking to secure their playoff spot and solidify who their opponent will be in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
