FORT WAYNE- The Indy Fuel hope to keep the momentum going of their two game win streak in the Fort on Sunday. These two teams face off once again as the Fuel took the victory on home ice Friday night against the Komets.
SPECIAL TEAMS
The Fuel have scored a power play goal in their last three games. Overall this season against the Komets they are 5/18 on the power play at 27.8% and 24/30 on the kill at 80%. Fort Wayne is 9th in the league in home power play, sitting at 21.8%, while the Fuel are 30th in road power play at 10.2%. Penalty kill is even with both teams sitting at 13th in their respective home & away penalty kill.
PLAY WITH A LEAD
In the past two games, the Fuel had come from behind victories. Against Fort Wayne on Friday, the Fuel popped a 1-0 deficit in the third. Yesterday in Kalamazoo, the Fuel evened up a 2-1 deficit again in the third. A key today will be to have a strong start and get on the board first to play with a lead, instead of working from behind.
