FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Wichita Thunder on Saturday to close out the weekend. In the three-game set, each team has claimed one win, making this the rubber match between these two teams.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night when the Thunder claimed a 1-0 victory over the Fuel. Despite only recording 12 shots on goal, the Thunder netted the only goal of the game early in the first period. Ryan Finnegan scored the lone goal, while Gabriel Carriere stopped all 33 Fuel shots for Wichita.
WHERE WE STAND
After 53 games played on the year so far, the Fuel sit in third place in the Central division with 59 points. They are three points ahead of Bloomington in fourth place, but 13 points behind both the Fort Wayne Komets and Toledo Walleye who have been battling for first place in the division all season. Wichita sits in fifth place in the Mountain division with 54 points. They are chasing the Tahoe Knight Monsters for a playoff spot.
