FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Wichita Thunder on Friday night for the second game in a row after defeating them 3-2 on Wednesday night. Indy looks to take the season series win before hosting them for a final time on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was Wednesday night where a power outage delayed the game by over two hours, before the Fuel locked up the 3-2 victory. Nick Grima opened the scoring with an odd goal where the puck trickled past the goaltender, before Lee Lapid and Cody Laskosky added to Indy’s lead. The Thunder could not make the comeback despite two power play goals.
ALL OF THE LIGHTS
The Fuel and Thunder will look to bounce back to some normalcy after a strange Wednesday night game that didn’t start until after 9 p.m., a handful of major penalties handed out, and an odd goal. With the lights on early this time, Indy hopes to shine under them.
