FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Fort Wayne Komets for the second night in a row for game four of the divisional semifinal round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Going into this game, the Komets are up 2-1 but the Fuel are fresh off of a 6-4 victory last night at home. They hope to even the series score before returning to Fort Wayne on Sunday.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was last night when the Fuel claimed a 6-4 victory over the Komets. Tyler Paquette opened the scoring for Indy early in the first period. Jordan Martin netted two even-strength goals, while Matt Petgrave and Chase Dafoe scored on the power play. Tyler Weiss had the other Fuel goal along with two assists. Harrison Israels had three assists while +4 on the night.
MOMENTUM BUILDERS
After a dominant 6-4 win at home on Tuesday night, the Fuel are looking to hold onto that momentum into their second home game in the series. After going winless against Nathan Day in the regular season, Indy cracked the code against him with six goals last night. In the regular season, the Fuel were 14-14-4-1 in games after a win.
