FISHERS- The Fuel will host the Fort Wayne Komets for the first time in the playoffs on Tuesday night in Fishers. After dropping two games to the Komets in Fort Wayne over the weekend, they look to even the series with back-to-back home games.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams met was Saturday night for the second game of the playoff series. Fort Wayne claimed a dominant 5-1 win, scoring five unanswered goals beginning in the second period after the Fuel took an early 1-0 lead. With two late power play goals for Fort Wayne and a series of penalties on the Fuel, special teams played an important part in that game.
HOME ICE ADVANTAGE
During the regular season, the Fuel went 3-5-4-0 against the Komets and 1-3-2-0 against them at home. The Komets have found success against the Fuel in overtime this year so preventing the game from moving to a sudden death format will be important for Indy.
