FUEL ANNOUNCE RECORD BREAKING SEASON IN 2025-26

FISHERS- The Indy Fuel wrapped up their 2025-26 season last week after making the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the fourth year in a row. After their second season playing at the Fishers Event Center, the Fuel players, staff, and fans have a long list of accomplishments from this year to be proud of.

ON-ICE RECORDS

Fuel captain Chris Cameron played his 250th ECHL game on November 14, 2025. All were played with the Fuel. Later in the month, on November 29, he played his 255th game, becoming the franchise leader in games played, passing Zach Miskovic with 254 games. He finished the season with 309 regular season games played for Indy.

Additionally, Cameron finished the season with an all-time goal differential of +47, leading the franchise.

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, the Indy Fuel shattered their franchise record for the longest shootout against the Kalamazoo Wings, totaling 12 rounds. The previous mark, 9 rounds, dated back to October 17, 2014, the very first game in Fuel history.

On January 12, 2026, the Fuel set a new franchise record with the most shots on goal in a single game, with 57. This surpassed the previous mark of 50 set on October 17, 2015 vs. Kalamazoo.

In January, Kevin Lombardi represented the Fuel at the ECHL All-Star Game alongside Equipment Manager Darrin Flinchem who was chosen for the second time with the Fuel to attend.

On March 7, 2026, goaltender Mitchell Weeks became the winningest goalie in franchise history after recording his 44th regular season win with the Fuel. Three weeks later, he set a new franchise record for games played by a goaltender when he started his 80th game for Indy. Weeks finished the season with a franchise record of 99 games played, 50 wins, and six shutouts, a category in which he already led.

Defenseman Matt Petgrave returned to the ECHL this season, playing in his 250th career ECHL game on February 27, 2026 just weeks before setting a new single season franchise record in points by a defenseman with 45. He finished the season with 48.

Petgrave and forward Jesse Tucker both played in all 72 regular season games for Indy this year, joining just six other players who have achieved that in franchise history. This was only the second time in Fuel history where two players achieved that in the same season.

For the first time in franchise history, the Fuel faced the Fort Wayne Komets in the playoffs, taking the I-69 rivalry to another level. They earned their first playoff win at the Fishers Event Center on Tuesday, April 28, 6-4 over the Komets. This was the first time since 1991 that a Fort Wayne and Indianapolis hockey team have faced off in the playoffs.

OFF-ICE RECORDS

Head Coach Duncan Dalmao won his 150th regular season game with the Fuel on March 4, 2026. This came just nine wins after becoming the winningest coach in the history of Indianapolis hockey during the regular season. He finished the season with 159 total regular season wins.

For the first time in franchise history, the Fuel had two female trainers, Madison Sikyta and Larissa Nogoda, behind the bench on December 6th, 2025.

On Teddy Bear Toss, 5,067 stuffed animals were collected for local children’s charities, including the WRTV Toy Drive. Through eleven seasons hosting a Teddy Bear Toss game, the Fuel have donated over 53,000 stuffed animals.

On November 28, 2025, Eva Hallman became the first woman in franchise history to do play-by-play for a game and the first woman to call a Fuel game alone.
