FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Thursday that they have signed forward Jacob Perreault to a standard player contract for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Perreault, 24, joins the Fuel from the Maine Mariners, where he played 39 games last season, averaging a point per game and recording 63 penalty minutes. He also had a career-high +11 goal differential. He helped the Mariners to the playoffs, where he scored eight points in ten games.
The 5’11 right-handed forward also played five games for the Trois-Rivieres Lion in the 2024-25 season, where he had one goal and four assists, eventually becoming a ECHL Kelly Cup Champion with them that season.
In between ECHL appearances, he has experience playing with the Providence Bruins, Bakersfield Condors, Laval Rocket, and San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL) as well as one game with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL. During the 2021-22 season, Perreault had 37 points in 55 games for the Gulls before helping them to the playoffs.
Prior to his professional career, Perreault had 55 points in 63 games for the Sarnia Sting in 2019, where he made the OHL First All-Rookie Team.
Perreault is the son of former longtime NHL player Yanic Perreault and brother of current NHL forward for the New York Rangers, Gabe Perreault, as well as Jeremy Perreault and Liliane Perreault, with his sister most recently playing professionally in Europe.
