INDIANAPOLIS - The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced Sunday that they have recalled goaltender Collin Delia from the ECHL's Indy Fuel. Additionally, the Fuel also announced that they have released forward Ryan Siiro and defenseman Brandon Rumble from their tryout agreements.
Delia, 23, made his Fuel debut Friday night, stopping 38 of 39 shots in a 3-1 preseason victory over the Fort Wayne Komets at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The native of Rancho Cucamonga turned aside all 22 shots he faced in the final two periods to backstop his team to victory in their first of two exhibition contests.
With the roster moves, Indy's roster sits at 26 players; 15 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. The Fuel open their 2017-18 regular season schedule on the road Friday against the Wichita Thunder at INTRUST Bank Arena.
