Fuel partner with Love Your Melon for Hockey Fights Cancer Night

This year the Fuel has partnered with Love Your Melon to fight pediatric cancer on Hockey Fights Cancer Night February 7th, 2020. For $40 you will receive a ticket in the Gold Level section and an exclusive Love Your Melon Fuel beanie.

Love Your Melon is an apparel brand dedicated to providing a hat to every child in America that is battling pediatric cancer. Fifty percent (50%) of net profit from the sale of all Love Your Melon products is given to support charitable programming through the Love Your Melon Fund and the nonprofits they support. Love Your Melon also creates therapeutic experiences and funds charitable programming initiatives for children and families battling cancer.

Hockey Fights Cancer is a league wide initiative adopted from the NHL to unite the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families.

The Fuel will be wearing specialty purple Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys and auctioning them off following the game. 100% of the profits will go to Community Health Network to help in the search for finding a cure.

Former Chicago Blackhawk and current analyst for "NHL on NBC" Eddie Olczyk will be in attendance as well. Olczyk was named NHL Hockey Fights Cancer Ambassador for 2019-20 earlier this year. The NHL Hall of Famer was declared cancer free in March 2018 after he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer on Aug. 4, 2017.
