Fuel Add Defenseman Anthony Wyse

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs announced Sunday that they have signed defenseman Anthony Wyse to a standard player contract for the 2020-21 season.

Wyse, 24, signs with the Fuel after finishing a four-year career at the University of New Hampshire. Skating in 136 NCAA contests, Wyse earned eight goals, 18 assists and 152 penalty minutes. Earning UNH's Rod Langway Best Defenseman Award three straight years, Wyse served as the team’s captain during his senior year while registering one goal, six assists and 51 penalty minutes.

Prior to his college career, the native of Newton, Massachusetts played one season for the USHL’s Lincoln Stars. Through 54 games for the Stars, Wyse registered two goals, 17 assists and 18 penalty minutes.
