To our loyal fans,
I would like to personally thank you for the continued support and patience you have shown the Fuel, specifically through the unprecedented times we have been experiencing over the last several months. When we started planning this year, I stressed the importance of playing a full season because I believed that after the disappointment of canceling the 2019-20 season, our fans, team and organization deserved a full year of Indy Fuel hockey.
We are aware that this season has looked much different than any other season at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The past few weeks, we have been handed several issues that are beyond our control. From the issues with the Coliseum ice to Covid safety protocols I am proud to say that our staff is doing everything in their power to keep Fuel game days running as smoothly as possible while doing what needs to be done to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy along the way. The safety of our fans, staff and players is our number one priority.
Admittedly, this last stretch of games hasn’t been the easiest on our team or our fans. I can assure you that Head Coach Doug Christiansen and his staff are working tirelessly to put together a team that will compete for a Kelly Cup Championship. I have no doubt that we are going to put the best product on the ice throughout the remainder of the season and into the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
This final stretch of games is a critical point in our season and we look forward to your continued support to cheer on the team to success. Believe me, each one of you do make a difference in the outcome of our games, and I appreciate you more than you know.
Most Thankful,
Jim Hallett
