INDIANAPOLIS – The American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs announced Thursday that they have recalled goaltender Tom Aubrun from the Indy Fuel.
Aubrun, 25, rejoins the IceHogs after playing 10 games in a Fuel uniform. The rookie goaltender has put together a 4-5-1 record this season while registering a 3.94 goals-against average and .876 save percentage. Appearing in one game with the IceHogs, the native of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France has earned a 3.79 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.
The Fuel are set to begin four straight games against their I-69 rival Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday afternoon. The pair of teams will continue their four-game series on Tuesday night at Indiana Farmers Coliseum before playing back-to-back games in Fort Wayne on May 7th and 8th.
